Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Seedance 2.5, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the video generation, image generation, reference upload, account, payment, or credit features.

Description of Service

Seedance 2.5 provides AI-assisted creative tools for text-to-video, image-to-video, image generation, reference-based generation, prompt drafting, asset management, and related creator workflows. Output quality, generation time, supported models, available resolutions, duration options, and credit costs can vary by model, provider capacity, input type, and account status.

We may add, remove, limit, or change features when needed for reliability, legal compliance, abuse prevention, provider availability, or product improvement.

User Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials, sign-in methods, API keys, workspace access, uploaded references, prompts, generated assets, and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account, payment method, credits, or generated content has been accessed without authorization.

Acceptable Use

Your use of prompts, reference uploads, generated media, and publishing workflows must also follow the Content Policy.

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Upload, generate, publish, or distribute content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Misrepresent generated content as official ByteDance, Seed, Seedance, or third-party output when it is not.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
• Abuse credits, payments, referrals, promotions, rate limits, storage, or generation queues.
• Use the service to create spam, malware, fraud, non-consensual intimate content, or other harmful content.

Credits, Payments, and Billing

Some generations, uploads, storage, model calls, subscriptions, and premium features may consume credits or require payment. Credit estimates are shown before generation when available, but final costs can change when the selected model, duration, resolution, audio, references, or settings change.

Failed jobs may be refunded automatically when our task system can confirm the failure. Payment, subscription, and refund handling may depend on the payment provider and the plan purchased.

You are responsible for keeping billing details accurate and for reviewing plan, credit, renewal, and cancellation information before purchase.

Generated Content and References

You keep responsibility for the prompts, reference materials, uploaded images, uploaded videos, audio, text, and generated outputs you use with Seedance 2.5. You must have the rights and permissions needed to use any reference material you upload.

AI-generated outputs may contain errors, visual artifacts, inaccurate details, distorted text, or unintended similarities. Review generated content before commercial use, publication, or distribution.

Intellectual Property

The Seedance 2.5 interface, software, workflow design, code, brand assets, documentation, and service features are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the service itself.

You retain the rights you already have in your own prompts, references, and uploaded materials. Rights in generated outputs can depend on applicable law, third-party model terms, and the rights status of your inputs.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, abuse credits or payments, overload generation systems, or use the service in a way that harms other users or the platform. You may stop using the service or close your account through account settings where available.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business opportunity, content, credits, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use Seedance 2.5.

The service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific output quality, model availability, generation success, exact prompt following, or suitability for a particular commercial use.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the product, models, credit rules, payment options, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by notice inside the service.
